At the start of 2023, ChatGPT and other generative AI tools made headlines across the tech world through their ability to generate coherent, original outputs from a simple natural language prompt and provide iterative responses based on further feedback.
Many in the accountancy world tested out how such tools could be used in the profession, with one firm owner using the chatbot to write to clients and another attempting to visualise what it might be like to take one on as a member of staff. ChatGPT also came close to passing an ACA Assurance exam.
But after the initial hype, are accountants actually using ChatGPT and other generative AI tools in their firms or businesses? If so, how? And what results have they seen?
In this interactive session, you’ll find out:
How accountants are using generative AI tools
The opportunities and challenges in adopting such technologies
What’s next for generative AI and the profession
Time allowing, there will also be a Q&A session at the end of the broadcast.
